31 pages into this one and WOW! This is a GREAT book! It is so beautifully written. Narrated by Death, the story is a brand new examination of World War II as he follows the life of Liesel as she steals books from wherever she is able. I can hardly wait to read more. This is a book for Kauri, for sure- Raven and Damian too. I think they would love the words chosen to tell this haunting and beautiful story. So glad I decided to start with this one.
